Hannah received her MChem degree from the University of Strathclyde in 2020. During her final year she conducted research under the supervision of Prof. John Murphy focusing on the use of traditional radical initiators in the base-promoted homolytic aromatic substitution reaction.

During her studies Hannah spent her placement year at F. Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel undertaking the medicinal chemistry internship (RiCH). On completion of her MChem degree, she returned to Basel as a trainee in drug discovery at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals before joining the Lloyd-Jones group in September 2021.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing her flute and reading.
